Local Dog Owners Get Petty Revenge On Neighborhood Karens For Putting Up Fake Signs Forbidding Dogs

What would you do as a dog owner if your neighborhood Karens were causing you nothing but trouble and attempting to limit your doggos movement? Well, the neighborhood Karens referenced in this delightfully ridiculous Reddit thread took things way too far and instigated a petty but extremely satisfying response from the neighborhood dog owners. Don't mess with the dog owners, Karen. 

The original poster sets up the scene for us: "We have a lovely park right beside our house. It is split right in the middle, one part is for dogs off leash and the other has tons of children's playgrounds and dogs are required to be leashed. With spring here I noticed once signs all over the 'on leash part' of the park, warning people not to walk their dogs around. Next day they are gone, next week they are back…. Last night I walked my dog around 1a.m (scary dog privilege) and saw two guys laughing and climbing the post the signs are put on." 

The next morning the neighborhood Karens were not pleased that their fake signs had been taken down. So what do they do? Call the cops, naturally. Karens are really good at that. Only what happened? Jokes on them because they were the ones who put up the original fake signs. Use your brains, Karens. Oh wait, we forgot that the Karens of the world are lacking in the brains department.

    Okay okay, we see where this is going. Those neighborhood moms will do crazy things to 'protect' their kids, and their own egos.

    Handwriting - Alright, what the heck bye it's a freaking sign, even if he is lying I am not calling the police. On my way out I see new signs everywhere. 'No kids off leash' with a little stick figure being walked by a big stick figure. Another sign along the lines off 'clean after your kids' with a small stick figure pooping.

    Handwriting - I laughed and walked away the next day I saw the moms were not impressed. They had called the cops and wanted the signs down. They admitted to putting signs up banning dog walking in front of the cops as well. The kicker?

    Human body - They got fined and the cops said someone will come take the new signs down up to 90days. I can't stop laughing. A few dads tried but the guys glued them with industrial glue.

    Human body - Edit: to clarify there are existing signs warning people to leash their dogs, the signs put up from the moms ban dogs in that part of the park. This is why dog owners got mad.

    Font - snowman93 +1 · 3 days ago This is great, but I'm tired of dog owners having their dogs off leash in non-designated areas. It's dangerous, and in many cities, against the law. I've owned dogs my whole life, my gf is a dog walker, we live in a major city and know several people who have been attacked, or had their dogs attacked, by off leash dogs. Leash your animal people, unless you're well away from others or in a dog park.

    Font - Jim_from_snowy_river +2 · 2 days ago Just be careful. There are some places where you can actually get a ticket or a fine for having a dog off the leash regardless of what the sign says. I work as a federal park ranger in the US and that's the way it was.
